Hotel Directions
Only airport Bali has Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), Denpasar Airport. It’s centrally located so getting to the Anshel Hotel in Seminyak is not too long by car – usually 30 to 45 minutes but can take longer with Bali’s often heavy traffic. Exiting the arrivals hall, you’ll find an official airport taxi counter, where you can obtain a fixed price coupon for your journey – a very reliable option with no hassles.
A more contemporary and frequently cheaper way is to use a ride-hailing app like Grab, or Gojek, akin to Uber for Southeast Asia. They have a special airport pick-up lounge, so it’s very intuitive. This is the most popular method for many experienced travelers in Bali. The app offers a fixed price beforehand; no negotiation is needed. These services are more comfortable, so they are better recommended.
For total ease, you also can pre-book private airport transfer on the Web. A driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a personal sign for you and help you with your luggage to the hotel. He will render you direct transportation to the hotel. The hotel can also arrange airport shuttle services at an extra charge. It's not advisable to hire a car if staying in Seminyak; the traffic is chaotic and gets too congested, plus there's just nowhere to park. The hotel's on a very narrow lane.
